Confidently Me! is reimagining mentorship through the power of community. Our new group-mentoring model brings girls together in a supportive environment where they can learn, grow, and build confidence alongside their peers.
Instead of traditional one-on-one mentoring, participants engage in guided group conversations, shared experiences, and confidence-building activities led by caring mentors. This approach allows every girl to benefit from multiple perspectives while realizing she is not alone in the challenges she faces.
Within the group, girls are encouraged to speak openly, listen to one another, celebrate their strengths, and form meaningful connections. Mentors provide guidance and encouragement while creating a safe space where every voice is respected and every participant feels seen.
Why Group Mentoring?
Because confidence grows in community. When girls learn together, they also learn from one another. They develop a sense of belonging, build healthy relationships, practice using their voices, and become part of a sisterhood that encourages them to rise.

Who are we serving?
The Mentoring Program primarily serve young minority girls from under-privileged, under-represented communities in the Greater Omaha Area. Mentees age range is between the ages 10-18.
Program Timeframe
The Mentoring Program last for a period of 9 months from August – May each year. At the end of each year-long session, there is a celebratory event that honors the progress and highlights the successes of our young girls.
Mentoring Focus Areas
SWAG (Strong, Wise, Accomplished, Girls), will focus on helping our young girls make positive decisions and life choices. Topics covered will include developing communication skills, decision-making, financial literacy, goal-setting, higher education, self-presentation, etc.
HER(O), will focus on helping our young girls develop their inner hero, covering important inward-facing topics that impact young girls such as Confidence, Body Image, Self-Worth, etc.
EDU-STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math), will focus on encouraging our young girls to explore education within the STEAM fields. We want our young girls to build confidence in their abilities to learn, understand, compete and thrive in STEAM careers.
